Past IWPA President and longtime member Cecilia Green is a tireless champion of the Bartlett Center for the Arts. Owing in large degree to Cecilia’s advocacy through Arts in Bartlett, an all-volunteer arts council, a new Arts Center opened in the downtown area this fall.

The renovated space has six artist studios, children and adult art lessons, cello lessons and a wonderful gallery featuring 13 artists. The Bartlett Center for the Arts is dependent on community support to keep the activities running and the doors open.

As we enter the holiday gift giving season, IWPA members and friends can support this wonderful facility. Consider purchasing your presents through Amazon’s charitable website: smile.amazon.com. All of the same great products are available, but for every completed purchase, Amazon will donate .05 of the pre-tax order total to the Bartlett Center for the Arts.

Visit smile.amazon.com and a welcome screen will appear. Type “Arts in Bartlett” to select your charity (not to be confused with the Bartlett Arts Council in Tennessee) and shop as normal.  Same prices, same products with an opportunity to fund an important arts initiative.

Thank you for giving back this season and for supporting a cause near and dear to the heart of our own Cecilia Green.
