Author Featured on Weekly Radio Series

Barbara Glanz of Western Springs, Ill., is a regular guest on WMBI Radio’s, "Familiy Friday Feature." The new series, which highlights people who are trying to help families make a difference in the quality of their lives, airs nationwide as part of WMBI’s "Prime Time America" show.

Author of the book, CARE Packages for the Home—Dozens of Ways to Regenerate Spirit Where You Live, Glanz has been a guest on several television and radio shows in recent months, including:

• KARE 11 News, the Minneapolis NBC affiliate, on Nov. 21, 1998.
• "The Dick Staub Show," a nationally syndicated radio show, on Nov. 30, 1998.
• The Andy Thomas Radio Network, a nationally syndicated radio show, on Nov. 25, 1998.
• WBAA Radio, broadcast in Indiana, on Nov. 25, 1998.
• WDBQ Radio, broadcast in Iowa, on Nov. 25, 1998.
• WFMK Radio’s "The Mark and Martha Show," broadcast in Michigan, on Dec. 7, 1998.

Glanz’ book has also been quoted in articles published in the Christian Science Monitor, the Portland Oregonian, and the Nashville Tennessean.

In addition, Sharing Ideas, a publication of the Walters Speaker Services, included "Writing a Compelling Book Proposal: A Critical Moment in Your Publishing Adventure"—Part Two of a three-part series by Glanz—in its September/October 1998 issue.
