WEB CONTENT EXPERT
FEATURED AT IWPA/CWIP EVENT
"Writing for the Web" will
take place on Wednesday, April 25, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the
Chicago Athletic Association, Chicago. The event is sponsored by Chicago
Women in Publishing (CWIP) and the Illinois Women's Press Association
(IWPA). The evening's speaker is Mary Ann Eiler, PhD., operations
manager for the division of database products and licensing at the
American Medical Association. Eiler develops and maintains Web sites and
has extensive experience in both print and online publishing. Eiler
plans to speak on Web content, applying journalism techniques to Web
writing, making distinctions between print and digital journalism, and
understanding user needs.
The Chicago Athletic Association is located at 12 S. Michigan Ave. in
downtown Chicago. Registration and networking takes place between 6:00
p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The speaker will begin the presentation at 6:30 p.m.
Registration fees are $10 for CWIP and IWPA members and $15 for
nonmembers.

Chicago Women in Publishing (www.cwip.org)
