Amy Cook: Legal Eagle at IWPA November 17 Meeting
Amy Cook |
Move over, Boston Legal. Amy Cook, attorney at law, will be our very own Chicago Legal on November 17 when IWPA presents “The Legal Aspects of Writing.” Ms. Cook is editor-in-chief of the award-winning Chicago Bar Magazine and contributing editor of the Writers’ Digest. Her leadership on the board of directors for Chicago’s prestigious Lawyers for the Creative Arts reflects her interest and protection of the artistic endeavor. As a former literary agent, she knows the pulse of a writer’s survival and appreciates both beauty and beast of publication.
Join us for this “must see” program for writers at any career stage of their lives. Amy Cook is a natural resource of current issues and laws facing the writing and publishing careers. Her presentation will focus on copyright, intellectual property protection, and research laws. |
