of dignitaries congratulating us on our 125th anniversary was this one from U.S. President Barack Obama.

Opportunity. What a powerful word. It means an appropriate or favorable time or occasion; a situation or condition favorable for attainment of a goal; a good position, chance, or prospect, as for advancement or success. Who has ever decided that she didn’t want to be offered an opportunity that would take her to a new financial level? Opportunity not only shows up at your door, but if you are willing and you do not give up easily, you can put your feet to the street and find opportunity yourself. You just have to know where to look for it.

Our November speaker is a woman who has sought, met, chased down and grabbed opportunity and never let it go. Life has no limitations for Suzanne Stempinski and the words “I can’t” do not reside in her vocabulary. She faces each day as a brand new challenge and has never turned down an opportunity that offered her something new, bold and exciting -- something “outside the box”.

Suzanne received a degree in Journalism from Northwestern University and since then, her feet have never touched the ground. Moving along in life at light speed, Suzanne currently is a freelance writer, editor, author, blogger, event coordinator, public speaker, real estate agent, and yes, you read that right, all at the same time!

With her inspiring and funny stories, Suzanne will show us how to use our current skills, education and even the hobbies to increase our opportunities beyond the small box most of us
