On February 17, 2007, Illinois Woman's Press Association will offer an
exciting program on creating a business from your writing expertise at the historic
Chicago Methodist Temple at 10AM. Speakers will include Grace DuMelle,
author of "Finding Your Chicago Ancestors: A Beginners Guide to Family
History in the City of Chicago" and Ursula Bielski, author of "Chicago
Haunts," "Graveyards of Chicago" and "Creepy Chicago."
DuMelle also heads Heartland Historical Research, which offers house histories,
oral histories and aspects of family history, such as searches for obituaries
and church records. Bielski leads a team that offers year-round tours of paranormal
Chicago, which she calls one of the most haunted cities in the world, from "Resurrection
Mary" to the John Hancock Building. Both authors are published by Lake
Claremont Press.
