 Mary T. Wagner, assistant district attorney for Sheboygan County, WI, won the distinguished 2008 Mate E. Palmer Communications, Silver Feather Award for achieving the highest number of points among all the entrants.

button The Illinois Woman's Press Association honored Marianne Wolf-Astrauskas as its 2008 Communicator of Achievement in recognition for her exceptional achievement in the communications field, service to NFPW/IWPA and to the community.

button Cecilia Green was the winner of the 2007 Mate E. Palmer Communications Contest, Silver Feather Award for achieving the highest number of points among all the entrants. She received four 1st place awards, one 2nd place and one honorable mention for her entries in the news reporting, public relations, public service programs, audiovisual and annual report categories

button Suzanne Hanney is IPWA's 2007 Communicator of Achievement in recognition for her exceptional achievement in the communications field, service to NFPW/IWPA and to the community.. She is editor of Chicago’s StreetWise, sold by people who are or were homeless.

button Chicago film critic Jan Lisa Huttner recently earned her second consecutive Silver Feather Award from the Illinois Woman’s Press Association, for writing the most award-winning articles in IWPA’s annual Mate E. Palmer Communications Contest.
