The Icing on the Cake

Attending a national conference satisfies every aspect of why we belong to
any group.
It provides education, friendship, a sense of belonging, feeling important,
being professional, having a voice, and did I mention friendship? Also, meeting
important people within the industry, finding new ways to do old things, sightseeing,
the bus tour experience, trying new foods, laughing until it hurts, helping
others, sharing, caring, oh, and did I mention friendship?
Attending NFPW conference is the icing on our IWPA cake. Belonging to the state
affiliate is the first step in experiencing a fantastic dessert. The icing just
further enhances the taste, the look, the feel and the joy of being part of
the whole delicious cake.
