Bill Curtis, executive producer and host of three award-winning shows on the A&E cable network, will discuss "The Future of Broadcast News" during his keynote address at the 24th Annual Salute to Chicago Communicators luncheon on Tuesday, Nov. 10.
Illinois Womans Press Association is pleased to be one of the 40 major professional communications organizations in the Chicago Area that will sponsor the event, which will be held at the Chicago Marriott, 540 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago Ballroom, 5th Floor. The reception is at 11:30 a.m., and luncheon begins at 12:15 p.m.
Irv Kupcinet is the honorary chairman of the luncheon, which raises money for the Al Weisman Scholarship Fund for the Advancement of Communications Education at Columbia College in Chicago. The fund has provided more than 400 Chicago area students with grants totaling almost $500,000 to complete projects in every area of communications.
