It's Better with a Buddy

Mentoring
It's a time-honored tradition,
the old one-on-one, the buddy system, big sister/little sister relationship.
Everybody needs a little guidance at times and new IWPA members are no exception.
Are you willing to "mentor" a new member? It wouldn't take much, just a willingness to greet the person at meetings, sit with them at meetings, sit with them at luncheons, introduce them to other members, and answer questions. Or, perhaps, it you were partnered with someone who lived in your vicinity, you could arrange to carpool to meetings.
The real goal is to make everyone feel at home. I hope you'll consider sharing that knowledge of the organization you've accumulated over the life of your membership with someone new to the group. To volunteer, contact Linda Heacox.
Carpooling
Tired of driving? Having difficulty finding transportation? Just don't want
to drive downtown Chicago? Why not carpool?
Here is just the first group of IWPA members who are inviting you to join them for the Saturday morning trip downtown for IWPA meetings.

If you would like to invite others to participate in a carpool through PenPoints, please contact Jill Moline.
