*** 2009 - 2010 IWPA High School Communications Contest ***

The 2010 Communications Contest entry deadline is past and the curent entries are now being judged.
The winners will be announced at the Awards Banquet in May.

Every year, the Illinois Woman’s Press Association honors the best student journalists, writers and communicators in the state with awards through our High School Communications Contest. The IWPA would like to invite you to encourage your students to enter their work in this year’s contest.

Download and print the entry form and guidelines (both in MSWord). The guidelines vary for each category, so please follow them carefully.

All first place entries will be entered in the national contest sponsored by our parent organization, the National Federation of Press Women. Local winners will be notified this spring and will be invited to attend our Annual Awards Banquet in May in Chicago. National award winners will be announced this summer.
